Dylan Dreyer revealed exactly what she keeps in her handbag while travelling – and one item is essential for helping her avoid an embarrassing on-air beauty mishap on the Today Show. The star's makeup artist Vadee exposed the secret via a video shared to Instagram.
The clip showed Dylan rummaging through her handbag at the airport. She was dressed casually in a white linen shirt paired with dark-wash jeans and carried a spacious brown leather handbag large enough to fit all of her travel essentials.
"What else is in here," said Dylan in the video. "A banana?" asked her co-star, Al Roker. "No banana, I actually did have one and I ate it," replied Dylan. "And my press-on nails, just in case one falls off," Dylan shared, laughing. She held up the packet, which contained a selection of pink press-on nails that perfectly matched the manicure she was already wearing.
© InstagramDylan and Al were travelling to Williamsburg for a special live episode airing on May 15. "On the road again!! Can’t wait to have you tune into @todayshow live from Williamsburg, VA on Friday and show you all the fun we’re having!!" penned Dylan on Instagram.
This isn't the first time Dylan has documented her airport experience. In April, Dylan travelled to Springfield, Missouri, for a Route 66 road trip. She took to her Instagram Stories to document the group's long wait in the airport prior to boarding their flight.
"We're still in the airport…," she penned. The next snap captured Dylan showing a video of her children to her co-star Al. "We're so bored, it's gotten to the point I'm sharing videos of the kids with @alroker … and @yoyosafe is … dancing?" she added.
© InstagramDylan also shared a selfie alongside her makeup artist. The NBC star wore a baby blue knitted top with a pair of light-wash jeans. "Well…makeup is still kinda on since 5am for us," she penned.
© InstagramThe NBC star is often away from Studio 1A on an assignment. Earlier this month, Dylan reported live from the Kentucky Derby. Dylan wore a green midi dress from Lela Rose. The garment featured a sleeveless design with an A-line silhouette. The dress was styled with an oversized green hat from Christine A. Moore Millinery that was adorned with pink feather accents.
Away from the spotlight, Dylan is a doting mom to three sons – Calvin, Oliver and Russell – whom she shared with her ex-husband, Brian Fichera.
