Courteney Cox has officially ushered in summer as she gave her fans a glimpse into her swimwear agenda for the season. The actress took to Instagram on June 13 to post a special tribute on her daughter Coco Arquette's 22nd birthday.
Among the images was a nostalgic throwback photo of Courteney holding her young daughter in the sea, dressed in a stylish bikini. The beachwear ensemble featured a blue and brown striped triangle top with matching bottoms. Courteney's long raven locks were left down in soft waves that blew over her face in the window and she wore minimal makeup.
Meanwhile, Coco looked adorable in a bright pink swimming costume detailing with an orange hemline. At the time, Coco had bright blonde hair. "Happy Birthday Co. You are such a wise soul. Funniest person I know and my life teacher. I love you x," penned Courtney in the caption.
Another photograph was a selfie of the pair in the present day. Courteney looked chic in a burgundy summer dress that featured spaghetti straps and ruched detailing. Coco looked so different with long brown hair that was left down in a sleek and straight style. She wore a black T-shirt emblazoned with glittery silver lettering.
Courteney Cox's workout routine and diet
The 62-year-old's flawless figure is courtesy of her dedicated workout routine led by trainer Ben Bruno. "As I get older, I realise it’s more important for me to do weights. It’s amazing how I used to be really muscly but not so much anymore," Courteney previously told Marie Claire.
Courteney also works with a physical therapist three times a week at her home gym. "I have a few machines and then I have one of those Bosu balls to do leg presses," she told British Vogue. "But [my trainer] puts me through it. Say maybe I’ll be on the treadmill for three minutes, and then I’ll be on a machine, and then I have a leg press, and she’ll have me do crunches. I think machines are so much more fun than doing mat work. But she kind of incorporates both."
Her workouts blend chest presses, treadmill runs, shoulder presses, chair leg raises, sumo squats, and chIn-ups.
"My fitness philosophy is to be active in life and enjoy what I am doing. I have always loved exercise and feel that being active is important to maintain not only physical health but mental health as well," explained the actress.
Courteney also ensures that she maintains a balanced diet with protein and veggies. "Luckily, some of my favorite foods in the world are vegetables. I just love kale, spinach, broccoli, asparagus. Anything green I crave. I also eat a lot of protein like steak, chicken, and some fish like tilapia," she previously told New You.
