It’s no secret that Jane Seymour has long inspired fans with her sensational physique, but the actress has revealed there's one surprising workout she will deliberately avoid, and fans weren’t expecting it.
The Emmy winner told Fox News Digital on Sunday that her competitive nature means yoga is not her regime of choice, as she admitted: "I've had to actually tell myself that when I go into a group class, especially something like yoga, that I have to tell myself I am not going to win, because I'm way too A-type,"
She continued by saying,"I want to win! Which means that I can never have done yoga, and I will decide that I could turn myself into the pretzel like that person. No. No, I cannot."
She finished candidly: "I'll end up in the hospital or something, so my approach is to try everything, but do it the way that I know I can. So, I listen to my body."
Instead of yoga, the Somewhere in Time star keeps active with a varied fitness routine that includes ballet barre, Pilates, Gyrotonics, light weights, sit-ups and regular walks, particularly on hilly terrain.
In terms of nutrition, the star at only 5 foot, 3 inches sticks to a mediterranean-inspired way of eating, as she enjoys produce grown in her own garden and avoids thinking of herself as being on a strict diet. Recently sharing that she typically eats just one substantial meal a day, as she enjoys a larger lunch.
However, while diet and exercise surely play a role in the actress's sensational physique, fans suspect her new found love has something to do with the actress positively glowing.
Engaged again earlier this month, Jane has declared her fiancé John Zambetti "the one" in an exclusive interview with HELLO!. The mother-of-four met her musician and emergency room physician beau John almost three years ago, and says that her family and friends remark that she is "the happiest they’ve ever seen me in my life. His friends say the same about him".
"We tried to keep it a secret for a while but we couldn’t," the Bond girl added. "We were too happy, so various friends and family were told, and we’ve been quietly celebrating with our closest friends ever since."
The actress, who has been married and divorced four times, lives with her fiancé in her beachside home in Malibu, and the pair receive regular visits from their blended family.
They were introduced by their children – Jane has six, including stepchildren, Kalen, 48, Jenni, 45, Katherine, 43, Sean, 40, and twins John and Kristopher, 29, while John, who was previously married for 43 years, has a son, Johnny, 38 and a daughter, Kathryn.
