New York City was abuzz with excitement as celebrities like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid descended on Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening to celebrate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumored nuptials.
The couple, who got engaged in August 2025, are believed to be tying the knot over the Fourth of July weekend, with July 2 serving as their rehearsal dinner.
Despite the flurry of activity at MSG, where the loading docks were full of crews directing giant set pieces into the arena, many fans of the "Cruel Summer" singer believe that she has already said "I do" to her NFL player beau in secret.
According to Page Six, Taylor and Travis may have already tied the knot in Tennessee instead, where the pop star and her family moved when she was 14 in order to pursue her dreams.
The outlet claimed that rumors were swirling in Nashville streets that they were married in a small ceremony in front of their nearest and dearest, ahead of their plans at MSG. This rumor was further fuelled when fans looked at the trajectory of Taylor's private jet on a website that tracked its movement.
The jet left Nashville on June 28 before landing in Pennsylvania, where Travis' father, Ed Kelce, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kylie Kelce, live. The jet then flew to Tampa, Florida, where Taylor's father, Scott Swift, lives, before returning to Nashville and remaining there until June 30.
Taylor is famous for sending subliminal messages and references, called "Easter eggs", to her fans through various mediums, in particular through her fashion. The blonde beauty walked the red carpet at the Toy Story 5 premiere in NYC on June 9 in a stunning Erdem dress, which Swifties believe may have contained a clue about her wedding.

The off-white dress featured a knot on each shoulder and an array of floral embellishments, which many believe could point to her "tying the knot" in "the garden", referring to MSG.
Taylor is also a fan of numerology and the number 13, which is famously her lucky number. She was previously thought to be getting married on June 13 in Rhode Island at the Ocean Resort, but that rumor was quickly shut down by the venue's wedding planner, Tara Guérard, on social media.
"I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo! Kindest, @taraguerard," she wrote. Their rehearsal dinner on July 2 is thought to host 100 guests, while a larger celebration is rumored to take place the following day inside MSG in front of 1,000 guests.
The streets around MSG have been shut down in the lead-up to the big day, and the NYC mayor, Zohran Mamdani, even referenced the wedding in a press conference urging New Yorkers to stay cool amid the heatwave.
"My recommendation to all New Yorkers is to stay inside and stay cool," he said on Tuesday. "And if you happen to be getting married at Madison Square Garden, you will be staying inside, and you will be staying cool. And I think it's a good example to set for the city at large."
