Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce treated their loved ones to an unexpected raffle during their New York City wedding that took place on July 3.
Following the nuptials, Jackie Tranquill, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill, revealed she won a Chanel bag worth $7K. The photograph, which has now been removed from the Instagram carousel, captured Jackie’s hand holding up her winning raffle ticket along with the black Chanel 25 mini handbag.
"Congrats to the newly weds," she penned in the caption. "WHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE."
The Chanel 25 mini handbag retails for $6,400 and features two signature pockets with a supple silhouette. The bag is crafted from leather and adorned with gold chain detailing on the strap with the iconic logo emblem.
A wedding guest told Entertainment Tonight that the reception featured raffles, with prizes that included designer handbags, jewelry and even a car – a 1970s Chevrolet Chevelle with "JST&T MRD" license plates.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
Taylor and Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler. The singer chose her brother as Man of Honor, and Travis chose his brother Jason as Best Man.
There was a black-tie dress code, with women expected to wear floor-length dresses while men would wear a tuxedo with a jacket, black bow tie and matching satin striped trousers.
Taylor chose a bespoke Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown for her big day. The dress was designed by the maison's newly appointed creative director, Jonathan Anderson, making the bride's gown his first couture wedding dress. The singer completed her bridal look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and elegant Cartier jewellery. Her husband also opted for a custom Dior Haute Couture suit.
Following the couple's nuptials, Jonathan reflected on collaborating with Taylor on her haute couture gown, which made her the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding dress by the designer.
"It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends," Jonathan told WWD. "It's an emotional thing doing someone's wedding."
As the couple celebrated with family and friends inside Madison Square Garden, the iconic venue paid tribute to the couple outside. The building was illuminated with bright pink "JUST&T MARRIED!" signs before the arena shared a photo on X alongside the caption, "It's a love story," referencing Taylor's 2008 anthem Love Story.
