Jason Kelce has shared an insight into his brother's wedding to Taylor Swift. Travis Kelce tied the knot with the hit singer on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler. The singer chose her brother as Man of Honor, and Travis chose his brother Jason as Best Man.
The couple invited approximately 1,000 guests and there was a black-tie dress code, with women expected to wear floor-length dresses while men would wear a tuxedo with a jacket, black bow tie and matching satin striped trousers.
While appearing at the American Century Championship in Nevada on July 9, Jason was asked by eager fans about the wedding. "It was a good time," the 38-year-old said in a NY Post video. "It was great."
"Did you drink over 15 beers at the wedding?" asked one fan. "Way over!"
Back in February, Travis was asked by TMZ how many kegs of his beverage brand, Garage Beer, would be available to guests after his ceremony. "Man, I can't even count that high," replied Travis. The NFL star and his brother Jason Kelce co-own the brand which offers light beer, including a lime-flavored option. As per the website, the beer is described as crisp and refreshing and contains only 95 calories.
Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce, also broke her silence on the extravagant nuptials. She called the wedding "incredible" while posing for a selfie with a fan.
Taylor Swift's wedding details
Taylor chose a bespoke Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown for her big day. The dress was designed by the maison's newly appointed creative director, Jonathan Anderson, making the bride's gown his first couture wedding dress. The singer completed her bridal look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and elegant Cartier jewellery. Her husband also opted for a custom Dior Haute Couture suit.
Following the couple's nuptials, Jonathan reflected on collaborating with Taylor on her haute couture gown, which made her the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding dress by the designer.
"It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends," Jonathan told WWD. "It's an emotional thing doing someone's wedding."
As the couple celebrated with family and friends inside Madison Square Garden, the venue paid tribute to the couple outside. The building was illuminated with bright pink "JUST&T MARRIED!" signs before the arena shared a photo on X alongside the caption, "It's a love story," referencing Taylor's 2008 song "Love Story".
