Elliot Page has been going hard on the promotional circuit for his new film, The Odyssey, and he had a very special plus one on his arm at the NYC premiere on July 14 – his stunning girlfriend.
The 39-year-old was joined by his girlfriend, Julia Shiplett, at the AMC Lincoln Square, marking a rare red carpet appearance for the couple.
The couple looked loved-up as they posed for photos together, with Elliot looking dapper in a black suit and striped shirt.
Julia, meanwhile, looked elegant in a floor-length brown dress that boasted a plunging, cowl neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette.
It's not the first time Julia has supported her boyfriend on his promo trail. Last week, she joined him at The Odyssey's London premiere, although she didn't walk the red carpet with Elliot.
However, she did praise the movie and share several photos from their night out on Instagram, writing: "Saw this charming little indie called the odyssey (maybe based off a book?? not sure) really loved it, you guys should try to find it if you can."
Elliot and Julia revealed their romance last June, but they have only made a handful of public appearances together since.
It's unclear how the couple met, but the Umbrella Academy star debuted his new relationship on June 29, 2025, sharing a selfie of himself and Julia in an Instagram post to celebrate Pride Month.
They kept things relatively low-key until they made their red carpet debut together that September at Gucci's short film premiere of The Tiger during Milan Fashion Week, just days after being photographed backstage at the Broadway premiere of Julio Torres' Color Theories.
On his 39th birthday on February 21, Julia posted a sweet tribute to her boyfriend alongside several photos of him on Instagram, captioning it: "Happy birthday E baby!!"
"How lucky I am to have such a sweet, patient, supportive boo thang who always wants to order fries," she gushed. "You've cracked my lil crone heart open and celebrating you is a breeze."
Julia is Elliot's first public relationship since he came out as transgender and non-binary in December 2020.
Who is Julia Shiplett?
Julia is a comedian, writer, and actress who gained prominence on social media in 2021, especially for her impression of Miya Ponsetto, a parody of the SoHo Karen incident.
She made her screen debut in 2018 in an episode of the show Crashing, plus a voice role in the show American Dad! and the miniseries Ad World before landing her recurring role in Overcompensating, which will soon return for a second season.
In an interview with Vulture, Julia spoke about how her approach to her craft shifted after embracing a more "hot-girl comedy" style.
"For years, I thought if I dressed as plainly and asexually as possible, people wouldn't have a preconceived notion of me or my material and would take me more seriously as a comedian," she opined.
"But if hot-girl comedy has proven anything, it's that you can be very funny while also being sexy and stylish. Now, I think wearing something fun and special onstage is a sign of showmanship – it shows you made an effort for your audience."
