It is an extra special, celebratory weekend for Michelle and Barack Obama.
On Saturday, October 3, the couple rang in their 34th wedding anniversary, and both commemorated it with loving tributes to each other.
The former first lady and president met in 1989 while working at a Chicago-based law firm; they are parents to two daughters, Malia Obama, 28, and Sasha Obama, 25.
In honor of their special day, both Michelle and Barack took to Instagram and shared photos of themselves, with the former sharing a video montage of the couple throughout the years.
Some of the snaps included from their wedding day, at Barack's 2009 inauguration, on the campaign trail, and a more casual snap of the pair walking on the beach barefoot, holding hands.
"Loving you just keeps getting better and better!" the Becoming author wrote. "Happy anniversary, @BarackObama. Here's to many, many more years of joy, laughter, and memories to come."
Barack then shared a glamorous shot of the two embracing, and wrote: "Happy anniversary, @MichelleObama! I'm still the luckiest guy in the world to be with you."
Celebrity friends and fans alike were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles writing: "Happy anniversary to my favorite couple," with a red heart emoji.
Others followed suit with: "Our forever President and Madame President," and: "POWER COUPLE!!! Happy anniversary to PRESIDENT Barack and FIRST LADY Michelle Obama! Wishing YOU BOTH continued love, laughter, partnership, and many more beautiful years together," as well as: "Our FOREVER First Family! We love the Obamas! Real love in real time!"
Michelle recently reflected on being not only several years out of the White House but as empty nesters as well. Speaking with her brother Craig Robinson at a live taping of their podcast for SXSW London earlier this year, Michelle confessed: "This is probably my last chapter from a career standpoint."
"I am 62 years old. We could be grandparents! But we are not," she then added. Later Michelle also shared gratitude for her parents, noting: "I have to take a moment, just [to] give tribute to our parents. They were uniquely gifted in pushing us to do things that they wouldn't themselves, and we're parents now," and adding: "You know the hardest thing in the world to do is to let your kids try more things."
Reflecting on how quickly the last ten years out of the White House went by, she shared: "My daughters will be 28 and 25 this year. So this next chapter I want to be mindful about it, so that it doesn't just slip away."
