"We are very happy, my client was granted primary physical custody, opposing party was granted absolutely no overnights, the child is safe and in my client's custody," lawyers for Olivier told reporters after the verdict was passed.

"He is extremely happy, this is exactly what he wanted from day one, to protect this child," they continued. "There will be no overnights and the mother has been ordered to go to certain therapy with the child and we believe this is in the best interest of the minor child, it is fostering the relationship and we want repair."

Per Extra, Halle's lawyer said in a statement: "We are extremely pleased that the Court has dissolved the TRO. As we move forward, Halle is determined to continue to focus on the well-being and best interests of her family."

The Unfaithful star also told the outlet: "I truly hope Maceo and his mother will be able to have a better relationship in the future… I don't want my son to hate his mom. I want him to love her. I want him to forgive her, and I want them to [reconcile] in some sort at one point."

Previously, the actor had accused his ex-wife of choking their son during an argument at home on September 26 per court filings, and also alleged she'd made racially charged remarks toward him, all of which she denied.

Per a recent filing, the Catwoman star objected to her son delivering a testimony in court (Maceo ultimately delivered four hours of sealed testimony, with a school official present to take the stand as well).

She'd claimed in her filing that her teen was a "coached and manipulated child" and should not testify in court. "Van Hunt was physically present during the incident and is the only adult third-party eyewitness to the events at issue," her filing also claimed.

"Nahla Aubry has lived with Halle and Maceo for virtually Maceo's entire life and is uniquely situated to observe their relationship, family dynamics, and Halle's parenting over many years," the filing on her behalf also claimed, referring to her daughter shared with ex Gabriel Aubry.

The judge denied Olivier's request for a permanent restraining order

It continued: "Rather than welcome testimony from these witnesses with direct personal knowledge, Olivier dismisses their observations while elevating the testimony of a neurodivergent 13-year-old child who has spent the last two weeks primarily in Olivier's care and with whom Olivier admittedly has been discussing the allegations, the litigation, and his anticipated testimony."
