Nicole Kidman infused her red carpet sartorial agenda with a touch of shimmer. The actress stepped out for the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on August 26. Directed by Susanne Bier, the film is the sequel to the 1998 cult classic.
The 59-year-old wore a custom Chanel dress by the maison's creative director Matthieu Blazy. The icy-hued gown was adorned with sequins and featured a strapless neckline with a figure-hugging silhouette. Strands of pearls and gold chains delicately adorned the bust, and the gown was completed with a daring thigh-high slit.
Nicole's blonde locks were left down in a sleek, straight style framed by her signature bangs while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a pink lip. Nicole's choice of designer doesn't come as a surprise considering she was named an official Chanel ambassador in October 2025 – a few months after Matthieu's appointment at the maison.

Meanwhile, Nicole's co-star, Sandra Bullock, opted to wear a different French fashion house for the premiere. Sandra looked stunning in a leopard print dress courtesy of Givenchy. The strapless gown featured a jacquard corseted bow draped at the side of the garment. The dress was plucked from the brand's fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection. Sandra accessorized the look with open-toe black heels and layered gold necklaces.

Nicole recently opened up to British Vogue about starring in Practical Magic 2. "It was the fans," she said of the sequel nearly three decades on. "It was an actual demand from people. They were like, 'Do we get this? Can we please?'"
