Kylie Jenner has revived her bold blue hair – but this time, she's opted for a micro bob cut. The beauty mogul graced the cover of Who What Wear's August issue, where she debuted her new tresses courtesy of a striking wig.
The cover captured a close-up shot of Kylie gazing towards the camera wearing an icy-blue wig that was styled into a bob cut with full bangs. The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a black bedazzled dress that featured a high neckline embellished with intricate gems,
"Mother. Daughter. Sister. Billionaire. Hell, @kyliejenner has even been a king and, now, a princess (IYKYK). At 29, Jenner has lived a million lives. “I feel like I lived such an adult life when I was young,” she tells @jonathanvanmeter. 'I’m trying to make sure that I don’t have any regrets and to do brave things and give myself more opportunities or take advantage of the ones I have.' For our August cover story, Jenner opens up about the future of her fashion brand @khy, entering her acting era, and just being Kylie through it all," read the caption alongside the cover post.
Kylie's love for a vibrant hair hue is nothing new. Who could forget the colorful wigs the KHY founder rocked during her infamous "King Kylie" era – from turquoise and baby pink to neon yellow? Kylie previously shared a video that showed her daughter questioning her about those colorful blue tresses from a decade ago. "A blue wig with a red outfit? It’s not a good combo!" said Stormi.
The photos revisited by Kylie and Stormi show the star sporting a variety of bold looks — from pastel blue locks, to her iconic teal ombré lob paired with a burgundy gown, and cobalt blue hair styled with a red T-shirt dress and boots.
Back in October, Kylie celebrated 10 years of her beauty brand with a limited edition drop that honoured her infamous King Kylie era. The nostalgic period was punctuated by turquoise tresses, chunky silver skull rings, Céline luggage totes, and Lady Killer x Tumblr Girls.
Kylie Jenner's reinvention
Kylie opened up to WWW about growing up with an immense amount of fame. "I'm a confident person in my private life. I think it's just hard to be a woman and a human because of this very singular experience of having so much attention," she shared.
"I think it's more of a personal refresh," she said of her new era. "I think there's something that happens when you're turning 29 – I'll be 30 next year – and you almost feel like the clock is ticking, even though you're still so young. So you're trying… I'm trying… I don't want to look back on life and be like, There's things that I wish I did when I was younger. Even though I already have children—so young—I feel like I lived such an adult life when I was young, and I'm trying to make sure that I don't have any regrets and to do brave things and give myself more opportunities or take advantage of the ones I have."
