They say good looks run in the family, and it certainly looks like Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have passed on their genes to their kids.
Gwen, 57, and Gavin, 60, were married from 2002 until 2016, and welcomed three sons together: Kingston, 20, Zuma, 18, and Apollo, 12.
Zuma Rossdale's birthday tribute to mom Gwen Stefani
In honor of Gwen's 57th birthday over the weekend, her middle son Zuma took to social media with a tender tribute, including a throwback shot of himself in his mom's arms as toddler, sporting an identical coiffe in his blond hair, just like hers.
"Happy Birthday to the greatest Mama ever @gwenstefani. I love you thank you for raising me the way I am!!!" he gushed in his caption, to which Gwen responded in the comments: "I love my baby."
Fans also took to the comments section with replies like: "Omg stoppp this hit me right in the feels," and: "Absolutely everything. What a sweet boy. And now he's doing what he loves and it's great," plus: "Happy birthday to your mom. This is a very cute pic."
Gwen and Gavin Rossdale's sons following in their footsteps
Both of Gavin and Gwen's older sons have started following in their footsteps as well, plus those of their stepfather Blake Shelton. In fact, both Zuma and Kingston made their stage debuts at Blake's Ole Red bar in Tishomingo. Zuma, for his part, has also adopted a country music twang to his own performances, just like Blake.
Kingston, in fact, recently dropped his debut single, "Right Side of the Moon," and is now working on an EP. "I obsessed over tones so hard. Making this EP, literally like locking myself in the studio all day, all night, just trying to figure out each section piece by piece," he told Hit Parader. "So, I feel really proud of the tones and the sound that I got."
However, it's his longtime girlfriend Lola Albert who Kingston cites as his biggest inspiration. "I write a lot of my music about her," the budding singer-songwriter gushed. "That's how it all started. I wrote a song for her birthday and my friends heard and they're like, 'Oh, this is actually really good.'"
"I was like, 'Oh, cool. I'm going to try to continue writing.' Now I have 200 songs or something. She loves the EP, she likes all the songs, and she actually came in when we were recording everything and got to see the process."
Gavin, for his part, couldn't be prouder of his sons. "[Kingston] is actually recording, the eldest is recording his record today, the first day of finishing up that," he told Fox News Digital recently.
"So he's exciting, and my other son Zuma is an absolutely brilliant singer and songwriter, and he played me a new song he wrote yesterday. It was so good. So it's the out-of-body experiences of my son playing, my kids playing me their music they've made, you know."
