Kylie Jenner has opened up about her latest cosmetic treatment – and it promises to give her flawless, glowing skin.
The beauty mogul took to her Instagram Stories on August 28 to share a screenshot of a FaceTime call she had with her sister, Kendall Jenner. In the picture, Kylie can be seen on camera with white numbing cream smothered all over her face while Kendall looks at her.
"Did microneedling today. So this is what our ft looked like today with my numbing cream," she penned over the image. "Crazy girl," she added.
The following post showed Kylie showing off her radiant complexion following the treatment. "My skin is already healing so nice," she wrote.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that uses tiny sterile needles to "generate new collagen and skin tissue to smooth, firm, and tone skin," according to Healthline. The procedure can help minimize the appearance of skin concerns such as acne scars, stretch marks or wrinkles
It is most common to get microneedling on the face, but you can also get it on your legs, back, neck – wherever you notice damaged or aging skin.
Around 30 minutes before your treatment, the esthetician will apply a numbing cream to the area. They will then go in with a hand-held roller or an electric tool that has tiny needles to make the wounds in the skin. Needle lengths can range from 0.5 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Depending on the size of the area, the treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
Khloé Kardashian's beauty treatments
Kylie isn't the first member of her family to get candid about the beauty treatments she undergoes. Last year, Khloé Kardashian opened up about the cosmetic procedures she has tried. She shared the aesthetic procedures she has had done in the comments section of a post by Dr. Jonny Betteridge.
"Here’s a list of things that I have done. I’ve been very open in the past about what I have done so here we go," she penned. Khloé listed treatments like laser hair removal, Botox, fillers, threads, and even salmon sperm facials as part of her glowing routine – before giving credit to the doctors behind the work. The star also admitted that she had "lost 80 pounds over the years" and reiterated that she had undergone a nose job by Dr Kanodia.
"Filler in the past but not any over the last few years (I hear it never goes away, so I'm sure it's still there but calmed down," she added.
She concluded: "In 2025 there are many other things we can do before surgery but when it’s time, and if I choose to, I know some great doctors."
