The '70s brought plenty of television gold, but some stars drew the eyes of their audience more than others. These TV bombshells were a fixture on the small screen during the decade and remain icons of 1970s television history, as well as the teenage dream of several devoted fans. Sally Struthers
Before she found pumpkin-spiced fame as Babette in Gilmore Girls, Sally Struthers became a household name as Gloria Stivic in All in the Family (1971-1979), earning two Emmys in the process. She returned to the franchise once more in the early '80s as the title character on Gloria (1982-1983).
She's still acting today and has recently joined Ted Danson on Netflix comedy A Man on the Inside. Fans will also be hoping to see Sally make an appearance in the upcoming HBO Max documentary on the legacy of Gilmore Girls, as well as the unofficial documentary Drink Coffee, Talk Fast.

Jaclyn Smith
Jaclyn Smith found millions of fans as the elegant Kelly Garrett on Charlie's Angels. She followed up this glamorous role with work on The Bourne Identity (1988), Navigating the Heart (2000) and a cameo role in the 2003 version of Charlie's Angels, reprising her original iconic character.
She's since set up fashion and lifestyle brands, continuing a business-minded sideline that dates back to her 1985 collaboration with Kmart – making her one of the first celebrities to use her fame to launch a brand. She married husband Brad Allen in 1997 and has two children from a previous marriage, Spencer and Gaston.

Catherine Bach
Catherine Bach first starred as cousin Daisy on The Dukes of Hazzard in 1979, a role which became her most enduring legacy on screen. She continued working on smaller projects in the subsequent decades, starred in '90s drama African Skies and in 2012 debuted as Anita Lawson on The Young and the Restless.
She remained married to entertainment lawyer Peter Lopez from 1990 until his death in 2010, welcoming two daughters over the course of their marriage. Catherine was briefly hospitalised for an embolism in 2025 but has fortunately since recovered.

Farrah Fawcett
Charlie's Angels transformed Farrah Fawcett into an international superstar as Jill Munroe, one of the three agents tasked with missions by their mysterious commander Charlie. Together with roles on The Six-Million Dollar Man and Logan's Run, Farrah built an enduring '70s legacy.
She married fellow '70s icon Lee Majors in 1973, remaining married until 1982. Farrah welcomed son Redmond O'Neal with then-partner Ryan in 1985. The actress sadly passed in 2009 from cancer.

Lynda Carter
One of the '70s most iconic bombshells was Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter. She starred as the classic superhero between 1975 and 1979, debuting just a year before the series' start on crime drama Nakia in 1974.
She's still working today, taking on acting roles in Super Troopers 3 (2026) and The Cleaner (2021), as well as voicing video game characters for The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road.

Lindsay Wagner
Lindsay Wagner got her start on screen in the '70s with episodic appearances on Adam-12 and The Paper Chase. She debuted in her most iconic role as the Bionic Woman opposite Lee Majors in a 1975 episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.
She reprised the role in Primetime Emmy-winning series The Bionic Woman between 1976 and 1978. Lindsay's Jamie Sommers was an iconic action hero for the decade with super hearing and superhuman strength. Now, Lindsay's a mother of two and is still acting today, credits including Grey's Anatomy, video game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (2025) and When Jack Came Back (2023). Per IMDb, she has several projects in the works including drama PELLETT.

Cheryl Ladd
Cheryl Ladd took over from Farrah Fawcett as Jill Munroe's younger sister, Kris, earning her own bombshell status in the process. Wholesome but glamorous, she stole the screen and found mainstream '70s fame. Following her stint as an Angel, Cheryl played Grace Kelly in a 1983 biopic and starred opposite James Caan on Las Vegas.
In 2022, she gave a different kind of performance on the ballroom floor on Dancing with the Stars, partnered with professional Louis van Amstel. Cheryl welcomed a daughter with then-husband David Ladd in 1975. After their divorce, she wed music producer Brian Russell in 1981 and they've been together ever since.

Angie Dickinson
Angie Dickinson's most famous '70s role was a star casting in Police Woman between 1974 and 1978. She played undercover cop Sergeant 'Pepper' Anderson, helping to fight crime in Los Angeles. Prior to her '70s hit, Angie appeared in Western Rio Bravo and crime feature Point Blank.
Angie was previously married to Gene Dickinson between 1952 and 1960. After their divorce, she wed Burt Bacharach in 1965 and remained wed to him until 1981, welcoming a daughter together in 1966. The actress was previously romantically linked to Frank Sinatra with an on-again-off-again, decades long relationship that gave way to an enduring friendship. Angie last appeared on screen in 2009 TV movie Mending Fences.
