It is one of her most iconic roles to date, but Christine Taylor has some "embarrassing" memories of her time as Marcia Brady.
The actress, 55, revealed that she was told to lose 10lbs to star as the beloved eldest daughter in 1995's The Brady Bunch Movie.
While she agreed to lose weight despite not being a "heavy person," Christine claimed the request "would never happen today."
"The one thing that I got – and I was not a super heavy person – but they asked me to lose 10lbs," she told Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey on the Office Ladies podcast.
"Of course, I was embarrassed when that ask came my way," she added.
Christine joked that if you watch the movie "very closely," you can see her looking a "little rounder" in certain scenes after she indulged in frozen yoghurt once filming ended.

Despite her embarrassment, Christine said that playing Marcia was "a pinch-me moment" after portraying the character in a stage version of the original ABC series called The Real Live Brady Bunch.
© FilmMagic, IncChristine recalled receiving an "out of the blue" message on her answering machine from the series creator Sherwood Schwartz, asking to meet with her.
"I went to Sherwood Schwartz's house and got to talk to him about The Brady Bunch," she said. "It was a pinch-me moment… I cannot believe to this day that I didn't keep my little tape from the answering machine."

In April, Christine reunited with the original Marcia Brady, Maureen McCormick, for a sweet, close-up selfie that delighted fans.
Leaning cheek-to-cheek, the two actresses looked radiant as they smiled for the camera. Maureen, now 70, wore chic glasses and soft waves, while Christine opted for a natural, glowing look, the pair proving that Marcia Brady's signature charm transcends generations.

The reference, a playful nod to one of the show's most memorable songs, immediately struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comments with excitement at seeing the two Marcias together.
