A star-studded group took to the runway for Miu Miu's latest Paris Fashion Week showcase, including one Ella Bleu Travolta.
The 26-year-old actress and model, the daughter of John Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston, first made her debut on the runway in 2022 for a Karl Lagerfeld show as part of New York Fashion Week. Now, she's making her Parisian catwalk debut for Miu Miu.
For her runway presentation, Ella was dressed in a green blazer atop a patterned black pleated mini dress with pants featuring brown trim down the side. Her hair was styled into a bun, and she wore buckled slippers with the ensemble.
But the A-listers truly did come out in droves for this particular show, from supermodel Gigi Hadid to actors Olivia Colman, Noah Jupe, Jamie Bell, Igby Rigney, Emma Corrin, and Louisa Jacobson, among others.
The focus of the collection was on statement pieces mixed into the casual, everyday wardrobe. Per Miuccia Prada's own show notes: "The reality of clothing today is this mix—sportswear, casual, normal."
"But how to make it more interesting, more rich? I wanted to find ways to introduce beauty into these real clothes. The concept of mixing elements of sports with sophistication is something that has always influenced my work. But I have never been so precise, or taken it so far."
Most recently, Ella appeared on screen in her father's feature directorial debut Propeller: One-Way Night Coach, an adaptation of his own children's book inspired by his love for flying and aviation, centering on the story of a young boy flying first class for the first time. Ella plays a flight attendant in the Apple TV film.
"It was so inspiring and so incredible because he had the whole film — all the music, all the shots — everything in his head beforehand," she said during an appearance on TODAY with her father of being directed by him and seeing him in action.
She recalled her Grease star dad first recruiting her to shoot the entire film on an iPhone as a trial, with her standing in for a variety of characters. "He just knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish and he achieved that incredibly."
A synopsis for the film, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May before receiving a release on Apple later that month, reads: "Set in the golden age of aviation, a young airplane enthusiast, Jeff (Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) set off on a one-way cross-country odyssey to Hollywood, which transforms a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime."
"Between airline meals, charming flight attendants (Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann), unexpected stopovers, larger-than-life passengers and a thrilling glimpse at first class, the journey unfolds in moments both magical and unexpected, charting the course for the boy's future."
