Julianne Moore enjoyed a glamorous mother-daughter night out as she stepped out with her 24-year-old daughter, Liv Freundlich, during Paris Fashion Week.
The Oscar-winning actress, 65, and Liv posed side by side at Messika's Haute Joaillerie event at the Grand Palais on Thursday, October 1, 2026, wearing stunning diamonds from the French jewellery house.
Julianne looked typically elegant in a long, softly textured cream-toned dress featuring a round neckline and long sleeves.
She kept the silhouette understated, allowing her statement jewellery to take centre stage, including dramatic ear cuffs, a ring and an eye-catching diamond necklace.
The Still Alice star wore Messika's Divine Enigma necklace, an 18-karat white gold design set with 13.20 carats of pavé diamonds and finished with a detachable oval-cut diamond pendant. Julianne has been an ambassador for the jewellery house since March.
Liv, meanwhile, opted for a contrasting black sleeveless minidress with a knotted, draped detail at the hip and long fabric panels falling below the knee.
She completed her look with black pointed pumps and more delicate diamond jewellery, including a Messika Move Uno choker.
The mother and daughter wore their long hair loose in soft waves and appeared in high spirits as they smiled for photographers together.
Liv is the younger of Julianne's two children with her husband, filmmaker Bart Freundlich. The couple also share son Caleb, 28, and have been together since the mid-1990s, marrying in New York in 2003.
Julianne recently spoke about the secret to her enduring marriage, explaining that friendship and genuinely enjoying one another's company have helped keep their relationship strong over more than two decades.
"I think you have to enjoy being together," she told People when asked about the secret to her relationship with her director husband. "And I think that building a life together is a big thing."
While Liv has largely kept a lower profile than her famous mother, she is no stranger to the fashion world.
She modelled for J.Crew as a teenager and has accompanied Julianne to fashion events over the years, including another Messika event in Miami earlier this year.
She also made an early screen appearance as a child in the 2005 film Trust the Man, which starred Julianne and was written and directed by Bart.
The duo's latest outing comes amid a busy Paris Fashion Week, which runs from September 28 to October 6 and has drawn a string of A-list names to the French capital.
