Sydney Sweeney looked unrecognizable after switching up her signature blonde hair for short brown hair instead.
The Euphoria star went incognito in a unique way during her beachside hangout with her best friend at an amusement park.
Sydney shared an eye-catching carousel online featuring herself rocking brunette hair with bangs, black shades, a graphic t-shirt, denim shorts and chunky sneakers during the fun day out.
She captioned the post: "When ur bestie shows up and says, 'here put this wig on,'" with a laughing emoji.
The actress was spotted enjoying rides, arcade games, a caricature illustration, eating fast food, and taking pictures in the photobooth.
Her best friend matched her by donning the same graphic tee, black shades, and straight blonde hair with bangs.
Fans loved the festive post and flocked to the comments to cheer them on. One person wrote: "I didn't even recognize her."
A second fan added: "HAHAHA I love you." A third follower continued: "She's so pretty. As a blonde and as [a] brunette." Another commentor wrote: "I see many more wigs in your future."
When Sydney's not rocking a wig, she's usually flaunting her signature blonde hair, however she admitted that looks aren't always what they seem.
The star revealed to The Strategist in 2024 that she was on a hair care journey after years of dying it blonde, despite being a natural brunette.
She explained that her hair became "fried," sharing: "I'm trying to grow my hair out. I'm on a hair-health journey."
Sydney continued: "My hair has been very damaged and fried from constantly dyeing it for different characters and red carpets, so I decided to trim off all the dead hair, stop coloring it, and let it grow out."
The actress also mentioned that her hairstylist gave her a wise tip to help keep her hair strands from breaking.
She continued: "My hairstylist was also telling me to stop using hair ties when I'm not working, so I've started wearing hair clips. I love Emi Jay's because there's so many fun designs and colors and sizes. I probably have almost all of them. I have one in right now. It's just a fun accessory to add to your outfit."
In October 2025, Sydney rocked a bold blonde bob at AFI Fest. She admitted that she was initially anxious about the big cut, and felt a "little nervous," but she came around.
She explained to The Hollywood Reporter: "I think my long hair became my security blanket. I always wanted it down and wavy, but I'm loving this. I feel like I'm going to meet a new version of myself."
