Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly have fueled speculation that their relationship is heating up after the musician appeared to spend the night at the actress's Los Angeles home.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 37, and the 36-year-old rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, were spotted together on Thursday, October 15 2026 after he wrapped up a recording session in LA.
In photographs obtained by Page Six, Dakota was seen waiting outside the recording studio wearing an oversized leopard-print coat and black trousers, with a laptop in hand.
MGK later emerged from the building and was photographed clearing space in the passenger seat of his Maserati, moving a large denim Hermès Birkin bag into the trunk before Dakota climbed inside.
The pair were subsequently seen leaving together, and the rapper's vehicle was still parked outside Dakota's home the following morning, suggesting he may have spent the night.
The latest sighting comes just days after the pair reportedly enjoyed an evening at Hollywood speakeasy Say Yes, adding to speculation about their blossoming relationship.
Their rumored romance
Dakota and MGK first sparked dating rumors in September when they were photographed arriving at their mutual friend Taylor Swift's Tribeca apartment in New York City.
The pair, who are believed to have grown closer after attending Taylor's July wedding to Travis Kelce, reportedly visited the singer's apartment for some privacy before heading out for dinner at Estela.
The rumored romance comes after both stars experienced high-profile breakups. Dakota ended her nearly eight-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in June 2025. The former couple, who reportedly became engaged during their relationship, had largely kept their romance out of the spotlight.
She subsequently dated musician Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, but the pair reportedly went their separate ways earlier this year.
MGK, meanwhile, was previously engaged to actress Megan Fox, with whom he shares a daughter, Saga Blade, born in March 2025.
The former couple began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement in January 2022 before splitting in late 2024. They now maintain a co-parenting relationship for their daughter.
Dakota recently joked about her history of dating musicians during an interview with Vogue.
"They like me. I don't know what to say," she quipped, before adding: "And I like them."
Neither Dakota nor MGK has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship.
