Mark Consuelos hinted at new ink after catching up with tattoo artist Koray Ozsoy for the first time in seven years.

The ABC star took to his Instagram story to unveil the new design. The picture captured a sketch of a large butterfly displayed on an iPad screen. "Reunite after 7 years," read the text alongside the photograph.

The following post showed Mark posing next to Koray in a kitchen accented with dark cabinetry. The television star wore beige pants with a simple black T-shirt and white sneakers. Mark completed his casual ensemble with a gray hat. Meanwhile, the tattoo artist was dressed in a bright orange top with a pair of black pants.

Mark is clearly expanding his tattoo collection, and he's no stranger to the prick of the needle. Kelly Ripa's husband already has a bicep tattoo depicting a Mexican eagle that resembles items made in Mexico. He has another tattoo on his bicep of a skeleton wearing a sombrero, holding a gun and a clock, which was inked in Vancouver by artist Kaiju. On his arm, Mark has a Socratic reference in Greek lettering that translates to "knowing nothing except this one thing."

Mark Consuelos' tattoo regret

However, Mark has previously admitted that he's regretted some of his past tattoo decisions. After eloping in Las Vegas in 1996, he got a tattoo of the classic tragedy masks. He has since covered up the ink with a new design.

Back in July, Mark opened up about the tattoo while chatting with guest host Jenna Dewan on Live With Kelly and Mark. "When we got married in Vegas, we eloped, and we went straight to a tattoo parlor," he shared. "I don’t know whose idea that was, but we went straight to get tattoos, and it was a horrible idea."

"What did you get?" asked Jenna. "Oh, my gosh. It’s so embarrassing. I’ve since had it covered up with something different here, but I got the tragedy/comedy actors [masks], the thing. Awful. The smiley face and the angry face. I'm like, oh, my god. It’s so cringey just to think of it."

"In our younger years, you go for the more obvious choice. I’m also in the process of removing a tattoo, which is, hands down, the most painful thing I’ve ever [experienced],"  replied Jenna.

The couple went on to welcome three kids – Michael, Lola, and Joaquin. Kelly and Mark reside in a $27 million townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. They purchased the lavish abode 12 years ago and transformed it into a modern living space with notes of French and Old Hollywood glamor inspired by the film Mommie Dearest.
