Josh Lucas and Brianna Ruffalo may have careers in the spotlight but away from the cameras they've created a hilltop sanctuary they call home.
The Sweet Home Alabama actor, 55, and the ABC7 meteorologist, 35, reside in Ojai, California, away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
Josh has spent years building their home in the mountains and it is nothing short of spectacular.
Both he and Brianna have shared snapshot of their property on social media and fans have been left in awe.
A pool with a view
The home is perched high above the rugged California terrain and the centerpiece of their timber-clad outdoor living space has to be the above-ground swimming pool which appears to be made from a repurposed industrial shipping container.
It's been painted with a slate charcoal finish and features glass paneling. With 360-dregree views of the canyons and rolling mountains, it makes for an idyllic spot to relax.
Their home was his passion project
After Josh and his son, Noah, left NewYork, he was invited to visit Ojai and he fell in love with it.
When a piece of land came up for sale, he had to see it.
"I actually felt an overwhelming emotion that this is what I've been dreaming about for all these years," he said of seeing the plot for the first time. "And I basically, on the spot, put an offer in to buy this place."
Family life for Josh and Brianna
Josh shares his 14-year-old son, Noah, with his ex-wife, author and editor Jessica Ciencin Henriquez. But he gained a stepmother in Brianna, when she married Josh in 2025 in Vatican City.
Despite their divorce, Josh and Jessica are dedicated to co-parenting their son.
"Rarely, do both parents, particularly if they're divorced, get to have as much interaction with their children," Josh told People. "We're really, truly doing the split custody thing, and have been so lucky to soak up all that time with Noah."
While Josh and Brianna don't have any children together, they are proud pet parents to their two Yorkies.
How did Josh and Brianna meet?
Brianna met her future husband in 2022 while he was filming Palm Royale. It was a chance meeting at a restaurant when they connected and began dating soon after.
She later said they "knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we've never experienced- on every level."
