Sarah Ferguson, 63, is currently promoting her book, A Most Intriguing Lady, and as part of her media campaign the Duchess took to social media to promote her upcoming Instagram live.

The video message allowed fans to admire the hardback version of the novel, but also inadvertently gave people a chance to see her royal surroundings.

While her conservatory may be a regular backdrop for filming her Fergie and Friends YouTube videos, Sarah chose a different location for Tuesday’s chat to camera.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah sat in front of a set of doors which appear to open out onto their stunning grounds.

To the left of the author is a checked curtain just in view, a hint at the room’s traditional decor.

The 21 acres of secluded gardens are a real highlight of the royal residence and we've seen glimpses of the grounds which include large trees, tree swings and beautiful flowerbeds.

Both of their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie celebrated their wedding receptions at the family home, proving just how stunning it is.

The Duchess has even unveiled her beautiful dressing table inside her bedroom in a social media video. The wooden design features a large vanity mirror with double wings, and it was topped with a white and gold flower vase and a selection of metal trinket dishes. It sits next to wardrobes with cream doors and metallic gold handles.

The £30m mansion in Windsor has belonged to Andrew since the Queen Mother's death in 2002, and he currently leases it from the crown estate.

However, it has been reported that Andrew and Sarah may have to depart their huge home Royal Lodge as King Charles shakes up the royal property portfolio.

It’s unknown where the Duke will reside if he does move out, but the nearby home of Frogmore Cottage is now vacant due to Charles asking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to move out when their lease is up.
