From gold medals to gold rings! Decorated Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has said "I do" to her NFL player husband Jonathan Owens, with the pair sharing news of marriage on Saturday April 22.
"I do, officially Owens," Simone captioned a carousel of pictures of the pair taken by Houston-based photographer Rachel Taylor. In one picture the newlyweds walked out of large wooden doors with Simone gazing up at her husband, and Jonathan throwing his fist in the air.
Simone, 26, wore a gorgeous four-tiered chiffon floor-length dress with a plunging halter neck neckline, and open-toed white heels, and she kept her long hair tied up in a simple yet romantic ponytail by stylist and glam expert Jazmine Johnson. She held a gorgeous spring bouquet by bespoke floral designer Maggie Bailey.
Jonathan, 27, wore a beige suit with an unbuttoned whitedress shirt and loafers for the special day which took place in their home town of Houston.
"My person, forever," he captioned his own post which featured pictures of the pair walking down a marble staircase, and Jonathan dipping his new bride for a kiss.

Last week Simone hosted a bridal shower where she rocked a stunning thigh-high split gown. The lavish party was hosted in Belize with a group of her closest friends, and it came after she revealed that the pair had officially received their marriage license, and that it was "almost time" to get hitched.
"Almost time to say 'I do,'" the bride-to-be captioned a selfie the two took of them in their car holding up the license. "Soon," her soon-to-be husband wrote back in the comments section under the post, with a fingers crossed emoji.

Simone first shared the news of her engagement to Jonathan, 27 – a football safety for the Houston Texans – with an Instagram post on February 15, 2022.
The two athletes first met through exclusive dating app Raya right before the pandemic in 2020. Jonathan previously admitted to Texas Monthly that he didn't know who Simone was, and while that might come as a shock to some, it was actually one of the things the gymnast later said she liked about her new husband.
