Ed Sheeran has hinted he is ready to settle down and marry girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. The British singer, who has been dating his former school friend since 2015, made the confession after he was quizzed by Australian radio chat show hosts Kyle and Jackie. When asked if his relationship with Cherry could lead to "marriage", the 25-year-old coyly replied: "I'm pretty... yeah I feel pretty good about it."
Although, Ed is notoriously private about his personal life, the chart-topping star was happy to reveal that their romance is going pretty well. He also added that he would "love" to have a family with his girlfriend, saying: "Potentially, I would like some kids." Earlier this year, Ed was happy to share more details of his romance, claiming he is the "happiest" he has ever been. Speaking on BBC Radio 2, he confessed: "I'm actually the happiest I've been and it's because I had a year to spend with someone. I've always started relationships then gone off on tour. I spent every day for a year with this certain person, we kind of have a strong relationship now which is good."

"I'm really secure now, we live together and we have cats, and I think when you have cats that's kind of it," he continued. The musician also admitted he wrote the song Perfect for Cherry on his third album Divide. "I just recorded it and sent it because she was living in New York at the time so I didn't see her reaction," he added. "I think she liked it, it's a gooden."

Cherry and Ed have been dating for a year and a half
Meanwhile, it's been a few weeks for the singer/songwriter as he has been on a hectic promotional trail for the release of his third studio album as well as two of his comeback singles Castle On The Hill and Shape Of You - his first releases since 2015. Talking about his monumental comeback, Ed recently said: "Hello 2017! I've been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I'm equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I'm absolutely buzzing to be back."
