Taylor Swift stole the show at London's o2 Arena on Sunday night, her only performance in Europe in 2017. The Look What You Made Me Do singer opened Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola on Sunday evening which saw Ed Sheeran, Liam Payne, Louisa Johnson, and Matt Terry perform to the 30,000 audience. Eagle-eyed fans spotted her boyfriend Joe Alwyn showing support to Taylor by filming her performance and singing along to her hits from the audience and Taylor reportedly stayed at Joe’s North London home during her trip to the capital.

At Capital's Jingle Bell Ball's Saturday evening show, Major Lazer, Sam Smith, Craig David and Dua Lipa were among the music stars who entertained the audience with Dan from Bastille making a surprise appearance to join Craig David for their new single. News of Taylor’s only European performance this year was broken back in November and sent fans into a frenzy with one writing: "omg Taylor Swift performing at Capital Jingle Bell Ball does anyone know how to get tickets still THIS IS AN EMERGENCY," while another added: "TAYLOR SWIFT IS COMING TO LONDON FOR THE JINGLE BELL BALL WHY AM I POOR."

Taylor recently made waves with the first single from her new album, Reputation – Look What You Made Me Do. The music video for the popular tune broke records for the biggest debut of any video in YouTube history, and reached 43.2 million views in 24 hours
