Karen Hauer and Chris Ramsey have proved that their friendship extends beyond the Strictly dancefloor after they enjoyed the ultimate double date on Wednesday night. The former dance couple reunited for a slap-up meal with their respective partners and a friend – and fans were thrilled to see them enjoying each other's company again. Comedian Chris shared a snap of their "great night" on Instagram, using the opportunity to show off his comedy skills by joking that his wife Rosie, their friend, and Karen, had ruined his "date" with Karen's boyfriend David Webb. He captioned the photo: "Extremely annoyed that @rosemarinoramsey @karenhauer and @rebecca_banks decided to crash my date with @davidpwebb... great night though." David echoed his friend's joke, responding: "My sentiments exactly."
Fans also commented on the photo, expressing their excitement at the reunion. One wrote: "Now that's a Dinner Date I'd like to crash." A second said: "I hope you enjoyed the meal @iamchrisramsey, you so deserve it after coming 4th on @bbcstrictly." A third added: "@iamchrisramsey you’re a lucky man! Your wife is amazing!"
Chris and Karen reunited for the ultimate double date
Chris and Rosie have been married since 2014 but Karen and her beau were first photographed on Boxing Day 2018 after the opera singer spent the festive period with Karen and her mother in New York. They had previously been rumoured to be dating after being spotted together in February of that year.

The couple gave their first joint interview to HELLO! last November, and both shared how much they mean to each other. Karen gushed: "He's my rock. It's so nice to have someone that understands and accepts me, doesn't judge and doesn't try to change me in any way. Everyone just falls in love with him too, because he has such a beautiful soul." David was equally complimentary about his girlfriend, saying: "Karen inspires me to be the best version of myself. I'm the luckiest man on this earth." Aww!
