"We’ve already enjoyed some of the meat from his harvest! Deer jerky is one of our favorites to make. Jackson is a good shot, and becoming a great cook, too!" the caption read.
In Arkansas all hunters must complete an education course and some fans were quick to congratulate Jackson with one writing: "Way to go, Jackson!"

Another added: "My grandson got his first one too. It will be processed and the meat donated to a mission to feed many high quality proteins."
However others were unsure by the post, with one questioning whether the decision to "display a dead animal like some sort of prize is tasteful at all".
Jackson posed next to the buck
The Duggar family are devout independent Christian Baptists, who pride themselves on their conservative outlook and follow strict guidelines in their day to day life.
Parents Jim Bob and Michelle are parents to 19 children, and all of their children have names which begin with the letter J; Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie.
They recently shared a sweet series of snaps of their Sunday after church, revealing that they often head to Cracker Barrel for family lunch.
Fans couldn't believe how much Johanna looked like her sisters
"Happy Sunday! Playing checkers and enjoying a beautiful day here in Northwest Arkansas while we wait for a table at @crackerbarrel after church!" they shared.
Eldest daughter Jana joined them for the meal, and fans couldn't believe how similar 16-year-old Johannah looked to her older sisters.
"Can’t believe how old Johannah is! She’s an exact combination of Jana and Joy-Anna," commented one fan as another added: "Johannah is becoming a mixture of all the girls . Not only Joy but Jana and Jessa too."
