Jack Whitehall is back at the BRITs this weekend. The comedian, who is hosting for a record-breaking sixth time, will take to the stage at the Co-op Live in Manchester on Saturday night. Busier than ever, Jack, who's made his mark in Hollywood after breaking out on the British comedy circuit, continues to balance his ever-expansive career with his daily life as a proud fiancé and father. Between long stints on set and stand-up comedy tours, the 37-year-old relishes nothing more than coming home to his partner, Roxy Horner, and their adorable daughter, Elsie, whom they welcomed in 2023.
Meet Jack Whitehall's fiancée Roxy Horner
Jack is in a relationship with Essex-born model Roxy Horner, whom he first met in 2019. The pair, who crossed paths while working in Australia, had been in the early stages of dating when the COVID pandemic struck in 2020, and decided to isolate together at Jack's home in Notting Hill. "Weirdly, that was quite nice because we spent a lot of time together and it accelerates the relationship in a way," Jack told The Mirror.
"Then, when lockdown ended, there were a lot of things we realised. We'd never gone to see a film together. We'd never been to a restaurant in England because we met in Australia." After moving in together permanently and adopting a dog in 2021, Jack and Roxy eventually announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Sharing the news exclusively with HELLO!, Roxy said: "I've always been quite a maternal person, so it was a relief to finally fall pregnant. Revealing how she broke the news to Jack, the model explained, "He had the sweetest reaction - he was so excited. He actually went to get me the pregnancy test, while we were both out in Australia – I'd told my mum that I was late for my period and she'd asked me if I was pregnant and I said, 'I don't think so'.
"Then I started getting quite hormonal and crying for no reason, so Jack said he was going to get me a test, and as soon as I saw the positive line, I just ran up to him and cried, and it was really lovely."
After welcoming their daughter, Elsie, the following year, Jack popped the question in December 2024. "She has really helped me achieve a better life balance of prioritising the things that are most important and reinforcing that that's where I get my energy and happiness," Jack told The Times in 2025. According to the publication, the couple will tie the knot in the English countryside at some point in 2026. Their daughter, Elsie, will be the flower girl.
Jack's fatherhood journey with daughter Elsie
Jack and Roxy welcomed their daughter, Elsie, into the world in September 2023. Confirming the news on Instagram, Jack told fans: "Well, this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn't have even imagined. In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.
"So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I'd never be that guy, I am now 100% going to be the parent who shows everyone endless pictures of their kid. I also wore Skechers to the hospital. I think I must accept I am a full-blown dad now."
Before Elsie's arrival, Jack had been warned by fellow parents that bonding with his baby girl could take some time. "I was worried," the comedian recalled in an interview with The Times, "but literally the minute I saw her, I was a blubbering mess."
"I thought fatherhood would mature me a bit more. Maybe it hasn't as much as I hoped it would," he joked to the publication.
Now two years into his fatherhood journey, Jack has spoken openly about becoming a dad. "I think you learn on the job. And that's the one piece of advice that everyone kept giving me," he recalled to Closer in 2024. "You must roll with the punches and find your feet, and I found it to be an amazing experience full of loads of challenges that I didn't foresee. But it's great, and I have an amazing partner who's a fantastic mum."
More recently, Jack and Roxy celebrated Elsie's second birthday, and while the couple rarely posts about their daughter on social media, Roxy penned a tribute alongside a selection of sweet family photos. "Happy 2nd birthday to my BABY. How are you 2?" she began. "Thank you for making me your mama, my darling. We have travelled the world together, so many places I've experienced for the first time with you. Dada and Mama are so proud of you. You are already smart, funny, empathetic, and creative, and I just feel so blessed that I'm your mummy. I love you more than words could ever describe."
