James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet had a date night to remember on Saturday, with the pair heading down to Wimbledon as the iconic tennis tournament reached its crescendo.

The pair ended up going for matching outfits as they headed down to SW19. James looked unbelievably dapper in a smart cream suit, which he paired with brown loafers and a black tie, while Alizee wore a gorgeous cream dress. She finished her outfit off with a pair of sunglasses and white shoes.

In the image, Alizee could be seen lovingly gazing up at her husband, who captioned the photo: "Matchy matchy for @wimbledon." He finished the post off with the purple and green heart emojis, the colours of the tournament.

Fans were quick to comment on James' post, with one enthusing: "Aw you two look beautiful," while a second wrote: "Love her French chic style! You both look royal!"

James wasn't the only member of his family who attended the tennis tournament for its final day, as his older sister, the Princess of Wales was also in attendance, wearing a stylish strawberry-red dress.

During her visit to the final, Kate chatted with Gabriella "Gaby" Dabrowski, a Canadian tennis player who competed in the 2024 season after undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Kate called the sportswoman "inspirational", with Gaby telling the media: "In 2024 I went through breast cancer treatment and I guess someone told her because she acknowledged that and said it was amazing that I was still playing while going through treatment. She said it was very inspirational, which I feel the same about her story as well."

The royal also spoke with Thea Stach, who performed the coin toss for the Ladies' Wheelchair Singles final on No.1 Court. Thea's mother, Loi, said of their encounter: "I think she's [Thea] a bit overwhelmed. I think the whole day has been so amazing...inside I know she's really, really excited, but because it's all so new and it's all so big, I think she's having trouble."
