Claudia Schiffer celebrates her 32nd birthday this weekend, but there will be no big party and no great fuss – the pregnant supermodel has holed up at her secluded villa on the Spanish island of Majorca with her husband Matthew Vaughn and she’ll be spending the day quietly with him behind firmly closed doors.
The couple already have plenty to celebrate, having married in England in May and announced that they’re expecting their first child next year. Their wedding was a celebrity-studded but well-protected affair, with only HELLO! invited in to cover the eagerly-awaited event.
And since revealing that they’re starting a family tout de suite, the twosome have been maintaining a very low profile indeed. A shrewd businesswoman who has amassed an estimated fortune of £30 million, Claudia is adept at revealing only what she chooses to, and it’s clear that this weekend, what she wants to do is enjoy her newfound happiness in total seclusion on her beloved Majorca.
