One of the world's most prolific style icons, thanks to her critically acclaimed role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her eclectic wardrobe, brimming with a myriad of high-end fashion labels. From Dior and Alexander McQueen to Manolo Blahnik and Prada, SJP's on and off-screen wardrobe is worth a fortune.
That doesn't mean she isn't partial to a bargain or two, though, but her tastes tend to lean toward high-end, bespoke items, with a smattering of occasional affordable accessories, or one-off pieces, such as her printed Forever 21 dress from 2021.
So you can imagine our surprise when the 61-year-old dazzled fans in a suit from the UK's most famous high street store, Primark.
Alongside her bestie Andy Cohen, the wife of Matthew Broderick headed to Primark's new Manhattan flagship store alongside Love Island star Maura Higgins and actress Emily Ratajkowski.
Sarah Jessica wore an oversized, off-grey suit with black statement buttons. The boxy fit was directional, modern, yet elegant, showcasing masculine tailoring with a high-fashion kick.
She teamed the look with a contrasting, lace-trimmed camisole with an asymmetric, polka-dot neckline. The whole outfit was from Primark.
Sarah Jessica Parker wearing UK fashion brands
SJP's taste in clothes is famously unique, and her fashion knowledge is so broad. A lover of UK talent, she's worn a variety of items from London-based brands.
Throwing it back ten years, in 2016, Sarah Jessica turned to luxury UK brand Needle & Thread London, donning their coveted 'Supernova' ruffled dress to an award show in the Big Apple. A stunning display of white layered tulle with an ethereal sprinkling of sumptuous sequins, the off-the-shoulder style was part of the brand's Resort 2017 collection. SJP gave the ensemble a Carrie Bradshaw nod by teaming it with contrasting, turquoise satin sandals.
In 2025, the global superstar donned a pair of T-bar, Mary Jane flats from luxury UK high street store L.K. Bennett as she was spotted filming for And Just Like That on the stylish streets of Manhattan.
In 2024, the mother-of-three championed British brand O Pioneers, while staying in London during her stint in the play Plaza Suite at The Savoy Theatre. The actress visited the O Pioneers shop and selected a stunning printed skirt by the brand. O Pioneers founders, Clara and Tania, reportedly played around with different offcuts and brought the Hocus Pocus star's dream to life. The mid-calf to full-length style has large side pockets and was a true statement piece. After Sarah Jessica posted a picture of it, the £395 skirt sold out in 45 minutes flat.
