Designer Christian Cowan-Sanluis, who has dressed A-listers including Lady Gaga and Rita Ora, has unveiled the first ever selfie hat. The 20-year-old designer teamed up with tech brand Acer to unveil the glittering pink sombrero, which includes an integrated tablet, so that any fashionista can simply rotate the brim to find their most photogenic angle, and then upload the picture to various social media apps.

Christian Cowan-Sanluis has designed the Selfie Hat

Featuring the hat in his Spring 2015 show at London Fashion Week, Christian revealed that he designed the hat because he wanted to help people feel confident when taking photographs. "We also wanted to give it a fun and playful approach," he told the Daily Mail. "But that in the end helps the user to better understand their face when taking a self-portrait." "A lot of people taking selfies struggle to find the full potential of their front-facing camera when they use their hand," he added. "The hat helps to perfect the shot, either if it's a cute, sexy or silly selfie."

Lady Gaga has been spotted wearing the designer's creations

The young designer has already shown several collections at London Fashion Week, and Lady Gaga was spotted wearing a pink glittering ensemble which featured a hat almost identical to the new design. The Just Dance singer paired the sparkling outfit with some towering black boots as she stepped out in New York in March.
