"I seldom pass up an opportunity to learn about something new," she told Vogue. "It excited me because they gave me complete freedom to make the denim I love."I chose everything from the washes, fits and styles to directing the campaign shoot. I got to put so much of myself into it, which was rewarding but what made it more so is that I also got to help a very noble cause in South Africa that is dedicated to eradicating paediatric HIV."Candice admitted that she felt the cause was particularly close to her heart as she is from South Africa and wants to help her country.

Candice says her designs were inspired by the Nineties

Her designs also feature a personal touch in the unique logo she created, featuring a swan in a swimming pool for a quirky nod to her unusual surname. The jeans themselves have a nineties feel, and the blonde beauty revealed she turned to the era for inspiration. "I did look at denim through many time periods," she admitted. "I loved the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties. There is an old Pepsi campaign with Cindy Crawford, which inspired me as well as Kate Moss, and Drew Barrymore in the Nineties, and then some came from my own street style."Candice is not the only celebrity to use her style icon status to help mothers2mothers. Fashion icon Victoria Beckham caused a fashionista frenzy last year aftershe auctioned off 600 items from her wardrobe in an auction to help raise money for the charity.
