Blake Lively turned heads as she stepped onto the red carpet at the weekend. The former Gossip Girl actress looked showstopping in a scarlet Monique LHuillier gown as she arrived at the premiere of her new film Age of Adaline in New York.
The couture dress hugged Blake's enviable curves and showed off her post-baby physique – the 27-year-old gave birth to her first child, a girl named James, in December of last year.

Blake looked stunning in the scarlet creation
Blake accessorised the red leather, lace and feather gown with diamond earrings and a series of dazzling costume rings. She wore her hair swept to one side in loose curls.
Blake was accompanied by her mother Elaine and brother Eric. Her husband Ryan Reynolds was not present – he is busy shooting new movie Deadpool in Vancouver, Canada – but he made sure to keep up with the event on Twitter.
The actress turned heads on the red carpet
After Lionsgate posted a tweet that complimented how good Blake and her co-star Michiel Huisman looked together on the red carpet, Ryan playfully replied: "Uh... I can HEAR you. @AgeofAdaline #AgeofAdaline."
The tweet echoed something Blake posted two weeks ago, when she shared a picture of Ryan and his Woman In Gold co-star Helen Mirren at the Berlin Film Festival.
Blake changed into this tailored ensemble for the after-party
"Should I be concerned that my husband's never looked at me this way? #WhereAreThoseEyesWanderingReynolds #HelenMirrenIStheSexiestWomanAlive #WomanInGold," she wrote.
After the red carpet, Blake headed to the film's after-party. She changed her outfit for the bash, donning a black tailored dress with sheer detailing featuring stars. The striking number was also by Monique LHuillier.
