Pop star Sam Smith is adding high fashion model to his CV after becoming the new face of Balenciaga. The award-winning singer revealed the news of his collaboration with the fashion house on his Instagram account, sharing the first glimpse of his campaign.

The pop star revealed the exciting news on Instagram
"Ladies and gentlemen. The time has come for my first ever collaboration with a fashion house. You ready?" Sam wrote to his 3.2 million followers.
"So honoured and ecstatic to announce my collaboration with @BALENCIAGA on the upcoming autumn/winter menswear collection! You'll be able to see my full campaign very soon. So happy."
The news comes just weeks after Balenciaga unveiled a campaign starring Kate Moss and Lara Stone together.

The blonde beauties formed the ultimate stylish duo as the faces of the label's Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign.
"For me, the fall collection began with the real women of Balenciaga – women who are multifaceted and multidimensional, strong and sensual yet also austere and mysterious," Balenciaga's creative director Alexander Wang told WWD.
"I wanted the first image for the campaign to frame Kate and Lara in a mysterious conversation."
While the two stars have worked together before – Kate styled Lara for a shoot – this was the first time that they have been photographed together for a campaign.
It's not the first time this season that Kate has joined forces with another supermodel for a high fashion brand. Having teamed up with Cara Delevingne forBurberry's campaign for fragrance My Burberry, the duo have once again been snapped together, this time for Mango.
