Kate Moss and Lara Stone join forces for Balenciaga

They're two of the world's biggest supermodels, so it was about time that Kate Moss and Lara Stone were paired together for a high fashion campaign. The blonde beauties have formed the ultimate stylish duo as the new faces of Balenciaga's Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign, looking as sultry as ever in head-to-toe looks from the label's new collection.

"For me, the fall collection began with the real women of Balenciaga – women who are multifaceted and multidimensional, strong and sensual yet also austere and mysterious," Balenciaga's creative director Alexander Wang told WWD. "I wanted the first image for the campaign to frame Kate and Lara in a mysterious conversation."

While the two stars have worked together before – Kate styled Lara for a shoot – this is the first time that they have been photographed together for a campaign. Therefore, it seems apt that renowned photographer Steven Klein was behind the lens, as he has worked with both models separately on various occasions.

This is not the first time this season that Kate has joined forces with another supermodel for a high fashion brand. Having teamed up with Cara Delevingne for Burberry's campaign for fragrance My Burberry, the duo have once again been snapped together, this time for Mango.

Kate is no stranger to working with the brand – she was the face of the label in 2011 and 2012. "It's so great to be working with Mango again," she said in a statement. "They are such a fresh and modern brand."

"Inez & Vinoodh have captured the energy of the shoot perfectly," said Kate. "Cara and I always have fun together and you can really see that in this campaign."

"This is the first time I have worked with Mango and having Kate as my partner in crime is ideal!" read a statement from Cara. "We are a lethal combination."
