Kate further accentuated her slim waist with a thin black belt and accessorised with black suede court heels and a small black clutch bag.
Her decision to sport a design from an Indian designer came just days after it was confirmed that Kate and William are to embark on a tour of India in spring 2016.
On Tuesday evening, Kate was attending the annual Fostering Excellence Awards, an event hosted by The Fostering Network, a charity dedicated to foster care.

The ceremony was celebrating the achievements of foster carers, young people, social workers and others within the fostering community, and was also an opportunity for Kate to hear some truly inspirational stories.
Before the actual awards ceremony, the 33-year-old had a chance to meet all winners at a special tea party and chat to a group of people. She was then given the honour of presenting the Fostering Achievement Award to three winners who have been fostered and who were being recognised for their extraordinary achievements.
