Kate dazzles in £2,200 diamond earrings

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, turned heads as she stepped out in dazzling diamond earrings on Wednesday.The royal added some serious sparkle to her look with the stunning earrings, which come with a £2,200 price tag.

Kate showed off her showstopping jewellery

They're designed by one of her favourite jewellers Kiki McDonough and called the Lauren Yellow Gold Pave Diamond Leaf Earrings.The description on the website reads: "Beautiful and elegantly small, these 18ct yellow gold and pave diamond leaf motif drop earrings are from our new Lauren Collection inspired by the British ballerina Lauren Cuthbertson".

The jewellery has a price tag of £2,200

Kate often wears designs by the British brand, who also designed jewellery for Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana.

Stepping out for her official engagement in London on Wednesday, Kate paired her showstopping earrings with a £995 dress by British designer Matthew Williamson.

The 33-year-old was stepping out to make a rare public speech focused on the issue of child mental health at the Place2be Headteacher conference in the capital.

It's been a busy couple of days for the Duchess after she attended the annual Fostering Excellence Awards, an event hosted by The Fostering Network, a charity dedicated to foster care.

On that occasion Kate had picked out a cobalt blue dress from new Indian designer Saloni, which featured cropped sleeves, a nipped-in waist and a full skirt.

The dress is titled Martine and is currently available on Matchesfashion.com for £555.

The grey shift dress, which featured neckline and cuff jewel detailing, was recycled from one of Kate's engagements back in 2012.She accessorised with dark green suede court shoes and a matching clutch bag.
