The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her love of shoes. Be it her trusty nude high heels by luxury high street store L.K. Bennett to her navy blue pumps by Jimmy Choo, the pregnant Duchess always steps out in style. Even her casual stamps are super stylish – the tennis-mad royal loves her classic Superga pumps which retail at just £50. The Superga 2750 Cotu Classics are readily available and go with plenty of different outfits, be it jeans or tailored trousers or a cute little summer dress. The 36-year-old even wore them while watching the London Marathon back in 2017.

It has recently come to light that Kate wasn't the only royal to love these to-go-to classics - the late Diana, Princess of Wales was also a big fan of the brand. She even wore the very same trainers as Kate but in navy blue – while on a visit to Angola for a Red Cross mission in 1997.

Diana wore a wonderful outfit for the occasion which consisted of jeans, a matching navy Armani blazer with striking gold buttons and a pastel blue shirt.

This isn't the first time that Kate and Diana's looks have mirrored one another. Prince William's wife wore a striking tanzanite necklace in March when she visited The RCOG in London. The blue stone necklace is a piece from royal jewellers G Collins and Sons, has been worn by the Duchess on a number of occasions over the years.

It also matches Kate’s engagement ring, which of course once belonged to her late mother-in-law. Kate’s late mother-in-law also was a huge fan of matching diamonds and herself wore a necklace very similar to Kate’s, as well as matching cubic zirconia oval cut stone earrings which Kate later wore to Wimbledon in 2011 after Prince William gave them to her as a treasured gift.
