We recognise this look!

Did Melania Trump pick up some style inspiration from the British royal family during her whirlwind tour of the UK? FLOTUS has just spent four days travelling around England and Scotland with her husband, President Donald Trump, during which they met the Queen. And as well as enjoying tea with the monarch, it looks like the former model may have been closely observing the family's fashion choices too, because she touched down in Helsinki on Monday wearing a pale yellow dress coat remarkably similar to a style worn by Kate Middleton on numerous occasions.

Melania looked pretty and chic in this yellow outfit

Melania arrived in the Finnish capital, where her husband is due to meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin, in a pale primrose yellow dress coat featuring large buttons, front pleating and a shirt-style collar. She accessorised with a playful waist belt featuring a butterfly clasp, which showed off her hourglass figure as well as adding a fun touch. She wore her caramel-coloured hair straight and sleek.

Royal watchers will automatically notice the similarity to Duchess Kate's Alexander McQueen outfit, which she wore to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She teamed it with a coordinating hat by Philip Treacy and accessorised with a box clutch. She has also worn a very similar cream-toned coat to Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015, at Trooping the Colour in 2016 and on a visit to Belguim in 2017.

Donald and Melania met Her Majesty at the dais in the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle, where a Guard of Honour formed of the Coldstream Guards gave a royal salute, and the US National Anthem was played. The group then inspected the Guard of Honour and watched the military march past before heading inside for tea at the castle. The President's visit to the UK has had a mixed reaction from the public, with thousands taking to the streets in London in protest of his visit.
