Royal Ascot always signifies the start of the summer, showcasing five days of delightful fashion and statement headpieces from the best-dressed racegoers.
The Princess of Wales' mother, Carole Middleton, stepped out on Tuesday, which was the second day of the iconic horse racing event, looking magnificent in a beautiful blush pink coat dress, designed by royally-loved designer, Catherine Walker.
The close-fitting, button-down design fell to the knee, giving the mother-of-three a streamlined stance, and she teamed the number with matching heels, bag, and resplendent hat in the same rosy hue.
Carole, 71, actually wore the very same outfit back in 2017, at the wedding of her youngest daughter, Pippa Middleton.
Carole's timeless mother-of-the-bride look
Pippa married James Matthews at St Mark's Church in Englefield – a Grade 1-listed country church that dates back to the 13th century. The wedding reception was held at the Middleton family's home in Bucklebury, seven miles away.
Carole's beautiful outfit was classic in design and gave her a polished and poised finish, perfect mother-of-the-bride attire. She paired her Catherine Walker ensemble with a pair of nude Emmy London 'Olivia' shoes and a matching 'Natasha' clutch from the UK-based brand. Carole, who was 62 at the time, styled her brown, honey-hued hair in loose waves and opted for muted makeup tones, including a pale blush lip colour.
Pastel colours are always a much-loved shade option for occasion wear during the summer months. "Pastel colours are stunning as long as the tone is right, champagne, dusty pink and powder blue are wonderful colours, and with some embroidery or a beautiful trim, on a perfectly cut coat or dress, you will have a classic piece you will love forever," Queen Camilla's favourite fashion designer, Fiona Clare, previously told HELLO!.
Carole's 2025 Royal Ascot look
Looking impeccably chic as she arrived at Royal Ascot last year, Carole donned 2025's standout palette, butter yellow, in the form of a magnificent lace dress from ME+EM.
The wife of Michael Middleton wore the brand's 'Two Tone Lace-Blend Midi Dress', which cost £325 at the time of purchase. The dress combined opaque and sheer finishes and was topped with a tailored lace overlay.
