The Princess of Wales' parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, have turned day nine of Wimbledon into a glamorous date.
One day after Carole soaked up the sunshine for her first courtside appearance in SW19 with her youngest daughter Pippa on Monday, she continued her glamorous spectator fashion in a white and blue floral sundress from ME+EM.
Crafted from a linen blend, the bias-cut maxi dress was the perfect way to keep cool in the 30-degree British weather, aided by its floaty skirt and voluminous sleeves. While the zip neckline was worn open to create a low V-neck on the model, Carole chose to make it more modest by wearing it closed for a rounded neck finish.
Keeping her accessories neutral, she accessorised with a rattan Longchamp bag, a matching hat and nude block-heeled sandals from Geox. Meanwhile, Michael followed a matching colour scheme in his blue trousers, pastel shirt and cream jacket.
Private Michael Middleton
While Michael tends to avoid the spotlight, he has made a handful of outings recently with his wife and family.
The couple dressed to impress as they attended Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot on 18 June, joining King Charles, Queen Camilla and other senior royals in the Royal Box just days before their 46th wedding anniversary.
Weeks later, Carole and Michael were pictured cheering on their eldest daughter Kate as she completed the Three Peaks Challenge in honour of the Royal Marsden, where she received her cancer treatment.
The Middletons donned sports attire as they posed for photos with Kate, Prince William and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Pippa and Carole's outing
On Monday, Carole joined Pippa at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, staying loyal to the same brands. The 71-year-old donned a classic white dress from ME+EM, which she layered underneath a blue linen blazer from Catherine Walker, finished with the Longchamp 'Le Roseau S bag'.
Meanwhile, mother-of-three Pippa showcased her fashion credentials in a poppy-print frock from Reformation, known as the 'Naira' dress. To complete her look, Pippa added white stilettos, a J. Crew raffia clutch bag, and a boater hat with a red ribbon tying in with her colour scheme.
Pippa had previously confessed that she enjoys a Pimm's at the tennis competition, candidly writing for The Spectator in 2013: "I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy a Pimm's or three when I'm watching a game. Only pints will do, frankly, since half the glass is ice anyway."
She added: "I try to smuggle mine under my chair and sip it when the cameras aren't on me. Oversized sunglasses help the disguise, and mean I can nod off unnoticed after one too many Pimm's in the sun."ks
