The Princess of Wales may be the ultimate royal fashion queen, but she's also an advocate for sustainable fashion, recycling her most iconic outfits year after year.
The mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis also has a seemingly rotating colour palette, often stepping out in red, royal blue and racing green throughout the year.
So when she wears a bright, playful shade, we all sit up and notice! A case in point is her dazzling Roksanda dress in a vivid, almost fluorescent yellow, which the royal has worn three times.
The eye-catching piece features a daring three-dimensional bow detail across the bodice, marking it as a true high-fashion statement rather than a traditional classic.
The Roksanda dress Kate wore three times
The first time Kate donned this dress was in 2022, during the royal tour of the Caribbean. The mother-of-three was pictured arriving at Norman Manley International Airport, wearing the bespoke Roksanda number - bright to reflect the gold colour in Jamaica's flag.
At the time, fans went wild for the style and rushed to buy the 'Brigette' dress, which was a sleeveless version of Kate's. Unsurprisingly, the £1,095 dress sold out at record speed.
A few months later, Kate wore the style again at Wimbledon, joining her husband, Prince William, for the Ladies' Singles Final.
Kate's yellow dress turned heads and was easily recognisable due to the sleek midi silhouette, the crisp cotton-poplin fabric, dramatic bow detailing across the bodice, short sleeves and a cinched waist. The then-Duchess of Cambridge slipped on a pair of pristine white high heels to complete her summery aesthetic.
In June 2026, the royal returned to Royal Ascot for the first time in three years.
Alongside William, the couple looked impeccably chic on the second day of the five-day racing event. The 44-year-old royal joined the traditional carriage procession behind the King and Queen as she arrived at the landmark event, looking joyful as she smiled and waved at the waiting crowds.
Her glorious, bright yellow outfit by Roksanda was the perfect choice and went resplendently with her Jane Taylor hat in the same bold yellow tone.
