Coronation Street viewers have witnessed Tyrone Dobbs lose his mum Jackie just a few weeks ago, and now more heartache is set for another major character as the ITV soap have confirmed a second death on the cobbles. Rana Nazir will tragically lose her dad Hassan, who will die in the hospital next week after suffering from a stroke at his 60th birthday party. In upcoming scenes, Rana's mum Saira – who along with the rest of her family have disowned her following her relationship with Kate Connor - attempts to ban her daughter from seeing her dad in hospital. In a desperate bid to see her father before he passes away, Rana lies that her relationship is over with Kate – which only makes matters worse for her in the long-run.

Luckily, things are a lot happier in real life for Rana actress Bhavna Limbachia, who tied the knot to actor Darren Kuppan last month. The happy couple got married in a low-key ceremony in Cheshire, which saw the stunning actress wear not one, but two bridal gowns. Bhavna shared photos from her big day on Instagram following the wedding, which pictured her in a beautiful floor-length strapless dress by Zeynep Kartal, followed by a beautiful red and gold traditional Indian wedding outfit, complete with a red and white floral garland around her neck. Darren wore a co-ordinating outfit with a matching garland, after changing from a smart grey suit with a white shirt for his first look of the day.

Alya Nazir actress Sair Khan added: "There are no words!" Guests in attendance on the big day included Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt in Corrie, who arrived with her boyfriend Tom Leech.
