Reba McEntire, the former stepmother of Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, recently expressed her immense pride in Kelly during her appearance on  The Voice

The country superstar not only offered advice to the show's contestants but also opened up about her long-standing relationship with the Since U Been Gone singer.

Reba gushed: "I am so proud of Kelly. She has evolved as an artist and as a mentor. We've known each other since 2000 - actually, 2002 - she was just a baby then!"

She continued:  "Now, she has matured into this incredible woman that I am just so proud of, and I love her with all my heart."

Kelly, visibly touched by Reba's words, embraced the 68-year-old legend and shared her own appreciation for their collaboration, saying: "I love working with Reba. She has helped me so much, both musically and as an artist."
