George Lazenby

George Lazenby only took on the role of James Bond once, earning $80,500 for his role in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Adjusted for inflation, this comes to approximately $710,000 today, siting at the bottom of our ranking.

Timothy Dalton earned $21.5 million for his part as Bond

A step up the rankings, Timothy Dalton earned a total of $8 million during his stint as Bond, taking home $3 million for The Living Daylights and $5 million for Licence to Kill – translating to $21.5 million in today's money.

Over $20 million for two films' worth of work might not sound like a bad deal, but plenty of Bond actors have taken home far greater pay packets.

Sean Connery took home almost $90 million as 007

Sir Sean Connery took home around $87.4 million total, adjusted for inflation, across six official features including Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963) and Goldfinger (1964).

He also appeared in one Bond adaptation separate from Eon productions, Never Say Never Again in 1983. He took home $17,000 for 1962's Dr. No which rocketed to a $6.7 million paycheck for 1971 instalment Diamonds Are Forever.

Pierce Brosnan earned four times his original paycheck as James Bond

Pierce Brosnan started his four-film run as the star secret agent in 1995's GoldenEye, earning $4 million for the role. His salary more than doubled for 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies, sitting at $8.2 million, followed by $12.4 million for The World is Not Enough in 1999. 

For 2002's Die Another Day, Pierce took home $16.5 million – more than four times what he earned for the first of his features as 007. In total, he earned $41.1 million for his service on screen.

Roger Moore earned the equivalent of $91.5 million today

Roger Moore

When adjusted for inflation, Sir Roger Moore took home approximately $91.5 million for his role as Bond. The acting legend starred in seven 007 features, earning $1 million in 1973 for Live and Let Die.

His role in A View to Kill (1985) earned the actor $7.5 million at the time, just over $23 million today.

Daniel Craig ranks at the top of our list – and even earned a Guinness World Record for his pay

Daniel Craig started his journey as James Bond in 2006 as the star of Casino Royale, earning $3.2 million at the time. He soon took home a bit more for the bank with Spectre and No Time to Die, being paid a record-setting $25 million for each film.

In total, Daniel tops our chart with a Bond fortune in excess of $100 million.
