I’m incredibly fussy when it comes to perfume. My fragrances must be the perfect balance of sweet and boozy, while also incredibly long-lasting. That’s not too much to ask for, right? You can imagine my joy, then, when I heard the most iconic Arabian beauty brand in the world has finally brought its perfume that fits every single criterion on my list to the UK.

  • Dubai-based beauty juggernaut Huda Beauty has just brought its Easy Bake Intense Fragrance to the UK
  • It has wild cherry top notes, white flower and cinnamon bark heart notes, layered over a vanilla bourbon base
  • Reviews of the scent say it is "heavenly, glamorous and unforgettable"

Enter the Easy Bake Intense Fragrance by Huda Beauty, inspired by the brand’s cult setting powder (another product I’m obsessed with, FYI). But to understand why this launch is such a monumental milestone, you have to look at how Huda Kattan, founder of the brand, changed the global beauty scene.

The Easy Bake Intense Fragrance is inspired by Huda Beauty's cult setting powder

Before Huda Beauty launched in 2013, the makeup industry was largely dominated by Eurocentric, minimalist standards. Huda, an Iraqi-American entrepreneur based in Dubai, completely flipped the script by proudly championing Middle Eastern beauty ideals of boldness, full-glam, pigmented formulas, dramatic lashes and structural contouring.

Dubai became the epicentre of her empire, cementing Huda Beauty as a global powerhouse. And now, Huda is bringing that same unapologetic energy to perfume with the Easy Bake Intense Fragrance.

And if there’s one thing you need to know about perfumes formulated in the Middle East, it’s that they will always leave a trail. Western fragrances often lean toward subtle ‘skin scents’, while Arabian perfumes are formulated to be bold, potent and long-lasting.

My review of Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Intense Fragrance

The Easy Bake Intense Fragrance is absolutely delicious. It takes the distinct olfactory signature of Huda Beauty's cult loose powder (get to know it, if you don't already) and elevates it into a floral-gourmand. By balancing a juicy top note of wild cherry with a base of cinnamon bark, caramel milk and vanilla bourbon, it delivers a fresh sweetness and boozy warmth that develops beautifully on my skin throughout the day.

The scent has an undeniably magnetic quality about it, too. During my first evening wearing it, I was drawing more attention than any other perfume I’ve tried this year. My experience aligns with the consumer data, which shows that 92% of women surveyed received compliments while wearing the fragrance.

Reviews of the perfume call it the “best fragrance I have ever tried in my whole life, got so many compliments in one day”, with some describing it as “heavenly” and “perfect”.

One review reads: “The new perfume from Huda Beauty has such an addictive and elegant scent. From the very first spray, it feels intense, feminine and sophisticated, while also being warm and comforting at the same time. What I love most is how long it lasts on the skin and the beautiful trail it leaves behind that always gets compliments. It’s the kind of perfume that makes you feel confident, glamorous and unforgettable.”
