Little Mix star Jesy Nelson looks unrecognisable with her blonde hair transformation

Jesy looks stunning with her new bubble gum hair shade

Jesy Nelson is known for her long, red wavy locks, so her fans got a huge surprise on Thursday when the star revealed her new hairstyle. The Little Mix singer posted a short but sweet message on her Instagram page, reading: "She's had the chop," with a scissor emoji beside a photograph of her new look – and it's quite a change. Jesy has gone for complete transformation and ditched her vibrant red style for a straight blonde long bob with streaks of baby pink, similar to the hairstyle of her bandmate Perrie Edwards. The timing is particularly apt as the group's new single Woman Like Me is released on Friday.

The star's social media followers loved her new look, with one telling her: "That hair is everything," and another writing, "You look AMAZING!" One fan simply wrote: "hair goals." However, there were a few sceptics amongst Jesy's followers, who wondered if the new blonde tresses could be a wig.
