Josh Hartnett has surprised fans after revealing he has welcomed a third child with partner Tamsin Egerton, believed to have been born in 2019.
Opening up about his family life to MR PORTER, Josh said: "The thing I am most proud of is that I'm a father of three and I have a good relationship with my partner and a great family life and I'm still able to do good work and, as I've got older, the characters have become more interesting."

Josh lives on the Surrey-Sussex border in a beautiful property he shares with St Trinian's star Tamsin and their children. The family-of-five have spent lots of time isolating together following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, but Josh confessed it has proven difficult to keep the kids entertained – a sentiment shared by many parents.
"We’ve been trying to keep them occupied as best we can, but [deep breath here] it’s a lot of work and it takes both of us all day and by the end of it all we want to do is reach for a bottle of wine and go to sleep."

The 42-year-old – who has been in a relationship with Tamsin for nine years – previously said that becoming a father to his eldest child, a daughter, changed his life.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Michael, he said: "She is the apple of my eye. She's perfect in every way… It puts things in a totally new perspective, of course. I mean, your ego melts away when you have a new kid.

"Your heart kind of leaves your body and you give it permission to walk around with someone else for a while. It's really terrifying, but it's beautiful. I love it more than anything. I wish I would have started it earlier. But I'm so glad that she is the one I'm raising."
The Penny Dreadful actor continued: "Because of her, [my] perspective shifts on work and stuff, too. I used to be a little bit more precious about what I was choosing to work on because I was just so worried about how, like, my career was going to come across and stuff like that. And now with her, I'm like, 'I just got to work. I gotta make money.'"
