Mary Poppins Returns, Toy Story 4, Incredibles 2, The Lion King, Aladdin, Moana and Frozen – these films are poised to create your favourite family day out in 2027.
That’s right: the latest Disney On Ice production will weave these iconic worlds (and plenty of others) into a stunning production that pulls audiences straight into the heart of their favourite Disney stories.
This year has been huge for Disney, with Toy Story 5 hitting theatres in June, shortly followed by a live adaptation of its 2016 film Moana in July.

If you’re a Disney On Ice fan, it’ll come as no surprise that this fresh rendition leans hard into world-class skating and high-flying acrobatics. If this you're a first-timer attending, expect jaw-dropping aerial stunts combined with stunning figure skating.
"There's so much for families to get excited about in this show! Our cast is not only skating; there are big stunts, acrobatics and moments where performers are flying above the ice. I can't wait to see our audiences' faces when they get dropped right into a giant, colourful carnival with the Toy Story 4 crew and see fan-favourite character Forky in action on the ice," says Julie Pritchard, Performance Director of the show.

Crowd favourites like The Lion King and Frozen will also deliver enchanting performances that speak to audiences of every age, from toddlers and teens to parents and grandparents.
And of course, joining the adventure are timeless Disney icons, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy, along with Aladdin, Genie, Jasmine, Ariel, Mulan and Tiana.
Behind the scenes, supporting the cast of Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures is a team of choreographers and set and costume designers who create the 103 props and 275 different costumes that make the show the spectacle it is. These are all transported in 17 trucks from city to city, taking approximately 14 hours to set up.
What to expect from Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures?
Families should be prepared for a getaway jam-packed with unexpected hijinks, surprises and up-close character interaction as the show skates into the UK.
You’ll join original characters Mickey, Minnie and Goofy on an interactive journey through iconic Disney destinations: experience London from the rooftops with Mary Poppins and Jack, sail to Motunui to help Moana restore the heart of Te Fiti, and head out on a Pride Lands safari alongside Simba, Timon and Pumbaa.
The adventure continues in Agrabah with Aladdin’s stunt-filled parade and Jasmine’s performance of fan-favourite song Speechless, before moving to a carnival to help Woody and Bo Peep search for Forky. And then (spoiler alert!) the journey concludes on the ice with Mickey and friends singing along with Merida, Belle, Ariel, Mulan and Tiana.
